How to choose sheets?
1. Fabric material
The bed sheet is in close contact with the human body, so the requirements for its material are very high. Generally speaking, the higher the content of natural fiber, the better the fabric. This is because the sheets made of natural fibers have good moisture absorption and breathability, and the touch is mild and not irritating, which can protect human skin very well.
2. Printing and dyeing process
Although the current printing and dyeing process is more and more mature, as long as you can think of the colors can be perfectly presented, but since it is a dye, no matter how the degree will bring some harm to the human body. Therefore, it is safer to have as few printing and dyeing processes as possible. Dark bed linen fabrics are generally dyed for a long time, and the damage to the internal fiber structure is also greater, which is better than light colors. Moreover, the quality standards of light-colored fabrics are stricter than those of dark-colored fabrics. Defects are particularly easy to be detected. Printing or dyeing may cover up the defects and "blend".
3. Fabric density
One of the important measures of fabric grade is density, which is often overlooked by us. The density of fabrics sold in the market is generally 120-200, which is very thin. If it can reach 300, it is called high-count high-density in China; the density of exported fabrics will be higher, and the density of mid-range fabrics is probably between 250-400. The medium and high-grade fabrics can reach more than 400, and the higher can reach 1600.
Fabric density has a great influence on quality. The fabric is not strong, how is the feel and breathability, including cost, these are related to the density of the fabric. In short, the greater the density of the bed sheet fabric, the better, the fabric feels more comfortable and delicate, and sleeps more fragrant and healthy.
4. Fabric technology
Good materials are not enough, and the production process of the bedsheets has to pass. Generally speaking, the satin fabric fabric has the best experience, the jacquard fabric gives a high-end feel, and the printed fabric looks fancy.
5. Sewing process
What is a good sewing process? The needle size must be even, the needle should be smooth, thin and fine. As long as the above conditions are met, it can be said that this sheet sewing process is good.
6. Sheet shrinkage
Sheet fabrics have a certain shrinkage rate, which is also the focus of attention when buying. The relevant national standards stipulate that the shrinkage of the fabric should be controlled within 4%. Generally speaking, the higher the density of the bed linen, the less likely it will shrink and deform.
It can be seen that the bed linen materials mainly include jacquard sheets, plain weave sheets, tencel sheets, linen sheets, etc. These materials have their own characteristics. People can choose according to their own needs, and they can also choose according to factors such as sewing technology.
