What Is The Difference Between Viscose Fiber, Modal Fiber, and Lessel Fiber.

- Apr 22, 2020-

In recent years, regenerated cellulose fibers (such as viscose, Modal, Tencel and other fibers) are constantly appearing, which timely meets the needs of people and partly alleviates the problems of resource shortage and natural environment destruction.

Because of the advantages of both natural cellulose fiber and synthetic fiber, regenerated cellulose fiber is widely used in textile industry on an unprecedented scale. Let's take a look the difference at the most common viscose fiber, modal fiber and lessel fiber.

Fiber Characteristics

1. viscose fiber

With good hygroscopicity, in line with the physiological requirements of human skin, the fabric is soft, smooth, good permeability, not easy to static electricity, UV protection, comfortable to wear, easy to dye, after dyeing bright color, the fastness is better, with good spinnability. Wet modulus is low, shrinkage is high and easy to deform, after the water feel hard, elasticity and wear resistance is poor.

2. Modal fiber

Feel soft, smooth, colour and lustre is gorgeous, good color fastness, fabric feel particularly smooth, luster bright, drapability were better than the existing cotton, polyester and viscose, has the strength and toughness of synthetic fiber, silk luster and touch, the fabric wrinkle resistance and wash and wear resistance, water absorption and air permeability is good, but its poor fabric crisp.

3. Lesel fiber

With natural fiber and synthetic fiber of a variety of fine properties, natural luster, feel smooth, high strength, basically no shrinkage, and permeability, permeability, good, soft, comfortable, smooth cool, drape, durable wear.

Scope Of Application

1. viscose fiber

Staple fiber can be pure spinning, can also be mixed with other textile fiber, suitable for making underwear, coat and a variety of decorative articles. The filament fabric is light and light, and it can be used as fabric for bedding and decoration.

2. Modal fiber

Modal's knitwear is mainly used for underwear, but also for sportswear, casual wear, shirts, haute couture fabrics. Blending with other fibers can improve the poor stiffness of pure modal products

3. Lesel fiber

Covering all fields of textile, whether it is cotton, wool, silk, hemp products, or knitting or weaving field can produce high quality products.
